A Musical Interlude

This summer, I drove across Europe. And by that, I mean I drove a lot across Europe. 15 countries, 9000kms. But it was far from just about the journey. Accompanying me every step of the way was my trusty acoustic guitar.

From Szeged to Stockholm, Copenhagen to Kosice, at every stop on my journey I took the time to find a quiet space and record something. Often two or three somethings. It was a period of tremendous emotional and mental clarity for me, a real “moving forward” in life, and a musical document of it seemed the ideal approach.

To be honest, I’ve not even listened to my recordings yet. But I will, and I will be compiling the good bits into a new acoustic album. Watch this space!
